Bedford Drive-In
As a result of the loss of the Bedford Gathering in 2007 after 10 great years , we felt that Bedford Owners needed something to call there own, somewhere where they could meet up and chew the Bedford fat , somwhere to make new friends who like them love Bedfords, yes something just for Bedford Wners and friends to call there own, no cars, no other makes, just Bedfords.
So we have decided to try a new format, an event within an event, so this year we are launching the idea of the Bedford Drive-In organised by the Bedford Register & Drivers Club for ALL owners of Bedfords and hosted by other major event organisers.
The first to sign uyp to the idea have been Live Promotions, well establshed Truckfest organisers and this year we will try two trial events, Truckfest South West at Shepton Mallet on 5th-6th July.
The second trial will be at the end of September at the Classic Truck of Yesteryear Gethering at the Usk Showground near Newport in Gwent on 27-28th September.
The Invitation is to all Bedford vehicle owners that have not been converted to living vans or race car transporters as Live Promotions have indicated that they class these as commerical vehicles and will demand the £40 per vehicle entry fee.
