The membership fee covers the cost of running the club but there is nothing left over, indeed with rising costs it is more liekly that the running costs will exceed the amount paid by the end of the 12 months !
We would like to invite as many of you as have a mind to become Friends of the Bedford Collection for a modest annual fee of £5.50 which will help us rescue more vehicles , store them in secure premises and co.operate with Coleg Gwent on a full restoration of each vehicle donated to us.
Part of this fee will also go towards our building fund to build a purpose designed hall at the Welsh Transport Heritage Museum Park at Risca near Newport in South Wales to house and display as many Bedford types as possible.Among the Bedfords currently awaiting collection are two CA's, a rare CF camper van, an OB furniture van, an SB unique mobile shop, and an SB coach. We already have secure several vehicles including the last Bedford badged vehicle ever made.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Please enrol me as a Full Member of the Bedford Register & Drivers Club for 12 months commencing 2008. Your membership starts ONLY after the Membership Pack, normally sent with the first magazine is sent out. Your subscription payment is retained by Pay Pal for your security until that happens and you can ask for you money back at any time until we send out the first magazine of your annual subscription.
