Many of the Bedford TJ's seen in Kabul originated in Pakistan as can be seen
in our first photo of a typical Pakistan lorry forming a backdrop to the vegetable sellers on the street.

If, like me you enjoy a glass or three of Argentinian wine, it most likey came from the Mendoza Region and in that case the grapes most likely traveled to the winery on a Bedford TJ !
Many growers rely on the trusty Bedford to get their hasrvest to the winery each autumn

Heading home, the loaded TJ based people carriers leave the down town parking lot at Accra.

Mauritius boats a wide range of Bedfords, mostly TJ's used in the farmlands, but this TL is a "towny" and is registered 1127YB 86

The last thing you would expect to see in the middle of the Indian Ocean is a "Stop me and Buy One" Bedford CF ice cream van with Cummins bodywork, but here it is still with its British logos.
Pakistan has always been an important market for Bedfords and a thriving business in customising vehicle, both buses and lorries, mostly on TJ chassis
to owners requirements has sprung up.
